will reopen for a 3rd great season
The Apex Farmers Market will be open from 8 am to 1 pm each Saturday from August 18 to November 3, 2007. The market will be housed in the parking lot at the Apex Chamber of Commerce (Old Depot), 220 North Salem Street in downtown Apex.
The market is open to vendors selling homemade crafts, seafood, farm products and farm bi-products such as jellies, jams, lye soap, etc. All items must be home grown or homemade by those selling them. Non-profit organizations are welcome.Throughout the season there will be special promotions at the market. Upcoming planned additions include: antique cars on display and a child's face painter.
Those wishing to be vendors, please sign up by logging onto the web site www.ncgazette.com and click on Farmer's Market for an application. There will be a $5 sign-up fee for each Saturday the market is open. We invite shoppers coming to the market to continue their visit through the stores in the historic downtown district.
