The Apex Farmers Market has a few more weeks left, with October 22 being the last Saturday of operations for 2016. It’s a great place to pick up your pumpkins for Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, there’s a lot going on at the end of the month, with Witches Night Out on Salem Street on Friday October 27 (5pm to 9pm), and Trick or Treat on Salem Street on Saturday, October 28 (4pm to 6pm)
Witches Night Out on Salem Street (Friday Oct. 27) – Stores will be open late and some will offer discounts to shoppers wearing witch hats. So grab some friends, and shop, eat, and have fun on Salem Street! Come down early with the family (5-7pm) and and stay late with the witches (7-9pm)!
Trick-or-Treat on Salem Street (Saturday Oct. 28) – Dress up the kids in Halloween costumes, dress up yourself, and head on down to Salem Street from 4pm to 6pm. Local merchants and businesses will be handing out candy and treats to costumed children. This has become quite an event in recent years, attracting hundreds of ghosts and goblins, and Salem Street will be closed downtown to ensure everyone’s safety.
